2012 GCST Winter Open

Swimming 90% or better new best times were: Dylan Bloch, Mattie Bryant, Lucy Bussiere, Gabby Langlois, Jared Repassy, Nona Dean, Elise Dean, Phoebe LaForge and Maxon LaForge.  Once again EVERY Tsunami swimmer at the meet had at least one best time, 100%......

Earning new FLAG (Florida Age Group Championship) cuts was Jared Repassy (200 free, 50 breast, 100 back).

Tsunami short course records which fell at this meet included: 11-12 boys 50 breast -  Gavin Bloch; 11-12 and Senior boys 1000 free - T.C. Smith, shattering his own record by more than 13 seconds to 10:49.73!

Probably the most impressive of all the great swims was the 100 yd. free swim by Dylan Bloch. His third race of the day Dylan sliced a full 3 seconds off his previous best going a :56.5.  The biggest time drop over the weekend was done by Luci Bussiere who dropped a total of 78 seconds from all of her events.
